Ian Law, M.D.

Dr. Law is a Pediatric Electrophysiologist at the University of Iowa Children's Hospital. He received both his BSE (1988) in Biomedical Engineering and MD (1993) at the University of Iowa. His Pediatric Residency (1996) and Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship (1999) training were performed at the University of Michigan. He then went on to pursue an additional year of Pediatric Electrophysiology Fellowship at the University of Michigan, completing his training in 2000. His area of expertise is in the management of arrhythmias in children and young adults.

Dr. Law performs a variety of procedures including electrophysiology studies, intracardiac catheter ablations, in addition to pacemaker and ICD implantations. These procedures are performed at the University of Iowa Children's Hospital, Iowa City, IA; Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, SD; and Sunrise Hospital, Las Vegas, NV. He also participates in medical relief work in Mexico, treating arrhythmias in underserved pediatric patients on the Yucatan Peninsula. His research interests include the diagnosis and management of arrhythmias in pediatrics and young adults, and in patients who have congenital heart disease.

Macdonald Dick, M.D.

Dr. Dick graduated from Williams College and the University of Virginia School of Medicine, and trained in pediatric cardiology at the Children's Hospital in Boston. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatrics (both pediatrics and pediatric cardiology), a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society, and a member of both the American Pediatric Society and the Society for Pediatric Research. Dr. Dick joined the faculty of the University of Michigan Health System in 1977 and is a tenured Professor of Pediatrics and Communicable Diseases. He has authored or co-authored over 250 publications on the diagnosis and management of arrhythmias, conduction disturbances, and congenital heart disease in children. Dr. Dick is a nationally recognized pediatric electrophysiologist.
